Ok sorry I haven't posted.. so with Kristy's encouragement here I am. I will just give you a quick debriefing.
1. I am situated in my apartment where I live alone. When I moved my stuff in it was NASTY. So they kind of cleaned it up, but basically I used every cleaner available and scrubbed everything 17 times. Since I've moved in I've had electrical outlets stop working, my stove/oven stopped working and by the time I get the new one I will have been w/o an oven for 2.5-3 weeks. And my toilet was actin' a-fool but I got that one figured out. I hated living alone at first but now it's fine, especially since I just stay in Blacksburg with friends half of the week.
2. Nursing school is moving pretty slow, which is fine I'm just not used to it. I have my first test on Wed. so we'll see how that goes. I am now more confused than EVER about what kind of nurse I want to be. But I think I will move to Florida.
3. Speaking of moving to Florida I called LDS family services to make an appointment with my counselor and HE has moved to Florida. So hopefully the new guy can figure out my life for me like Ryan did.
4. Church is going awesome/frustrating. I am having more fun than I have had in years passed buuuut I'm not officially single yet so I have to watch my P's and Q's. It's frustrating to feel like I have to have a chaperone.
5. My BFF Jesse is in Europe and loving the Orange Fanta, but I miss him SO dearly!! But it's been good because I would've hidden behind him instead of branching out and making awesome friends/kindling old relationships into awesome.
6. This year I have a goal to get RIPPED UP and so far I'm doing pretty well with working out, but without an oven I am struggling to get excellent protein.
7. My clinicals are Pediatrics, ICUs, and Nursing homes and the nursing homes are HILARIOUS.
8.I miss everyone alot and I will post more later. I really need to study!
